Consultant Assistant Electrical Design Engineer, Design Section
Job Description
The consultant will be responsible for supporting Electrical Design Engineer, Design section, HQ Gaza to form design duties (calculation, modeling, drafting, quantities take-off and BOQ/specification development) at Design Section - UNRWA HQ (Amman) according to UNRWA’s policy and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing tender documents (electrical works part)
- Assist in preparing technical specifications for materials
- Hand-over design works according to plan
- Archives all done works
- Prepares itemized BOQ and cost estimate
- Performs market research for materials
Qualifications
- A university degree in Electrical Engineering
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Solar system Electrical design
- Strong ability in AutoCAD software
- Strong ability in pvsyst software
- Background in Electrical works design for building projects
- Good command of spoken and written English and Arabic
