Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Materials: Multiscale Modeling and Mechanical Behavior
Job Description
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at AUB invites applications for a full-time Tenure-track position. The candidate is expected to teach core and elective courses, mentor students, and develop an independent, externally funded research program in multiscale materials modeling.
Responsibilities
- Teach core and elective courses in materials and mechanics
- Mentor student researchers
- Engage in service to the department and faculty

- Publish in internationally recognized journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering
- Record or potential for impactful research in multiscale materials modeling
- Potential for excellence in teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
