Job Description
The Site Engineer safely participates in the accomplishment of project objectives through planning and scheduling, resource allocation and management, cost control, technical direction, compliance with quality standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning, including site layout, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Supervise activities on-site, including monitoring progress and quality control
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Manage the procurement, delivery, and storage of materials and equipment
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that work meets project specifications
- Provide technical support and guidance to workers and subcontractors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of operational activities
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations on-site
- Monitor project costs and expenditures
