Our client, a forward-thinking software development company, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Junior Software Developer Apprentice to join their fully remote team. As an apprentice, you will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and practical experience in building and maintaining software applications. You will work closely with experienced developers, contributing to real-world projects.
Responsibilities
- Assisting senior developers in writing, testing, and debugging code.
- Learning and applying different programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Participating in code reviews.
- Collaborating with team members in an agile environment.
- Documenting code and processes.
- Troubleshooting basic software issues.
- Learning about the software development lifecycle.
- Developing a strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Qualifications
- Foundational understanding of programming concepts (academic, personal projects, or courses).
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
