Sales Supervisor - Traditional Trade
Job Description
Responsible for overseeing and driving the performance of a team of van sales representatives to achieve sales targets, ensure effective route coverage, maintain strong customer relationships, and execute company sales and distribution strategies in the market.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide a team of van sales representatives
- Plan, monitor, and optimize van routes
- Monitor sales performance, productivity, and adherence to sales routes
- Conduct regular field visits to coach and train representatives
- Ensure proper execution of promotions, pricing, and merchandising standards
- Monitor stock availability, van inventory, and returns
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers
- Collect market intelligence on competitor activities
- Ensure timely submission of sales and route reports
- Enforce compliance with company SOPs and credit policies
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in FMCG sales, with prior exposure to van sales operations
