Regional Financial Accountant
Job Description
Charterhouse is supporting a professional services company looking to hire a Regional Financial Accountant. The role takes ownership across all areas of financial accounting for the regional business, ensuring financial statements are recorded in alignment with regulatory requirements. You will prepare VAT returns, manage transactional accounting (AP/AR), and oversee reconciliation processes.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of financial accounting for the regional business
- Prepare and oversee quarterly VAT returns
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Oversee the reconciliation process and general ledger maintenance
- Support collections and manage working capital
- Liaise with internal or external audit partners
- Manage financial data in billing and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CPA) or part-qualified Accountant
- Demonstrable background working within a professional services organisation
