Airport Operations Agent
Job Description
Delivers an exceptional service in all areas of the unit on which assigned. Provides an effective operational support to the Airport Operations Agent and assists the team members on operational tasks. Provide face-to-face customer assistance at Discover Qatar desks at Hamad International Airport to represent DQ Brand as a 5-star Destination Management Company of Qatar Airways. Efficiently deliver tasks related to transit tour bookings, hotel bookings, meet and greet services and airport transfer services at HIA in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures of DQ Leisure Operation. Communicates with airport staff and other Discover Qatar departments effectively to fulfill customer requirements necessary to achieve a seamless airport journey. Provide special assistance to customers with special requirements. Resolve minor complaints and provide alternatives to DQ customers having flight disruptions. Actively promote and sell DQ Transit Tours and services offered at HIA and ensure assigned sales targets are met.
Responsibilities
- Provide face-to-face customer assistance at Discover Qatar desks

- Perform sales reconciliation and prepare shift sales reports
Qualifications
- High school graduate with minimum of 2 years of job-related experience
- Excellent command of English language
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Good knowledge of destination information and local market practices
