Sales Executive
Job Description
Handles customer inquiries and lead requests for locally driven groups with rooms within predefined group sales parameters outside the sales office. Works with customers to align preferences and up-sells each business opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries for groups with rooms
- Coordinate sales efforts with other channels
- Close best opportunities based on market conditions
- Execute and support operational aspects of business booked
- Conduct site inspections
- Attends pre- and post-convention meetings
- Ensure seamless turnover from sales to operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, or related area
- OR 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Hotel Management
