Job Description

An established European pet food manufacturer is seeking an International Sales Manager to lead global commercial expansion for its premium finished pet food range. The business already exports to over 30 countries and is now focused on accelerating growth through new distributors, retail partners, and supermarket chains worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive international sales strategy for premium finished pet food products
  • Identify, develop, and onboard new distributors, retailers, and supermarket chains
  • Expand presence in both existing and new markets
  • Build and manage long-term relationships with key international partners
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, and distribution models
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, product)
  • Represent the company at international trade shows and industry events

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in international sales of finished pet food
  • Strong track record of developing new markets and client networks
  • Experience working with distributors, retailers, and large retail chains
  • Understanding of premium product positioning within the pet food sector
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, international role
  • Strong commercial negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Based anywhere in Europe
