MEP Cost Control Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cost Control Engineer – MEP to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cost management, budgeting, and financial monitoring of MEP projects within the construction industry. The company is a leading construction company in Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain project budgets, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts
- Monitor project costs and provide timely reports to management
- Conduct cost analysis, trend analysis, and value engineering
- Ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions related to MEP projects
- Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to control costs effectively
- Assist in contract reviews, variation claims, and final account settlements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 10 – 15 years of experience in cost control within construction, specifically MEP projects
- Proficient in ERP software and cost control tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
