Job Description

The Benefits Assistant is responsible for supporting benefits operations and handles confidential information in a secure and professional manner. This role will partner with Benefit Admin and Leave Admin to provide support for general benefit administration and leave of absence administration.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with new-hire orientations
  • Manage Life Events and wellness programs
  • Audit invoices for accuracy
  • Perform quality checks of benefits-related data
  • Maintenance of confidential personnel files

Qualifications

  • Two-year degree or equivalent or two or more years related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience with HRIS and Payroll systems a plus
