Job Description

The Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing and supporting the management of all aspects of store operations and performance. He/she supervises the operations department in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Additionally, he/she drives sales and enhances customer experience through the performance and development of the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer service standards are met
  • Provide guidance and support to store managers
  • Contribute to development and execution of retail department strategy and budgets
  • Analyze relevant KPIs and propose action plans
  • Review historical sales figures and establish achievable targets
  • Ensure sales targets are effectively communicated to the sales team
  • Review sales and stock reports and collaborate with brand managers
  • Develop a strategy to drive sales by monitoring market seasonality and trends
  • Conduct store operations audits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field
  • MBA is a plus
  • Seven to nine years of experience in a similar role
  • Four years of experience in a managerial role
