Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Helpdesk Support Specialist to join our technical support team. This role serves as the first point of contact for end users, providing timely and effective first-line technical assistance. The ideal candidate will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and operating system issues, document solutions, and collaborate with internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to, log, and track technical support tickets from end users
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues
  • Configure, install, and maintain equipment and operating systems
  • Provide remote technical support as needed
  • Document procedures, solutions, and troubleshooting steps
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate teams
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of support tickets and statuses
  • Assist with maintaining and updating IT equipment inventory
  • Participate in training sessions, technical meetings, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Microsoft 365 administration
  • Strong working knowledge of Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance features
  • Ability to work on site in the Detroit area at least 10% of the time
