Deputy Project Director
Job Description
The Deputy Project Director - PV reports directly to the CEO of the Project Company. They are responsible for ensuring the Project is executed according to PPA/EPC agreements with high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance, within schedule and budget. The role involves managing stakeholders, monitoring plant design/construction, and providing leadership to engineers and risk managers.
Responsibilities
- Manage stakeholders effectively in line with contracts
- Ensure appropriate organizations are in place for Construction Period
- Monitor plant design, procurement, and construction via Owner's Engineer
- Approve project expenditures
- Provide leadership to engineers and risk managers
- Coordinate monthly progress reports and budget analysis
- Relations with the Off-taker and transmission company
- Resolving escalated risks and issues
- Develop and implement required policies or procedures
- Manage all construction activities to ensure standards are met
- Monitor Technical and Project Planning functions
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a must
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience including Project management activities
- Fluency in English
