Operations Coordinator
Job Description
The operations Coordinator (OC) plays a pivotal part in promoting operational Excellence, coaching and mentoring field personnel on approved ROO procedures aligned with best practices within the operations excellence.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit strong safety leadership and model exemplary safe behaviors
- Provide strategic guidance to the site operations team to optimize production
- Conduct self-verification activities and contribute to incident investigations
- Support coaching and development initiatives for site teams
- Assist in maintaining high standards of Operating Excellence
- Contribute to plant preparation and reinstatement activities
- Provide assurance regarding site compliance with Control of Work (CoW) procedures
- Collaborate in managing operational risks through Task Risk Assessments
- Actively monitor product quality and manage interventions
- Accountable for performing a full operator round every day
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in hydrocarbon/WI operations
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Relevant HSE knowledge
- Knowledge of control of work systems
- Certified Professional Engineer preferred
