People Manager
Job Description
KAVAK is the number one e-commerce in the purchase and sale of pre-owned vehicles with the fastest growth in Latin America. The People Manager is responsible for driving the organization's people strategy to attract, develop, and retain top talent. This role oversees all HR functions, including recruitment, employee experience, performance management, organizational development, and compliance, ensuring alignment with the company's mission, values, and strategic objectives. The People Manager will collaborate closely with the Global People team to align with and implement global initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee HR policies and ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations
- Manage payroll, benefits, and employee relations functions
- Implement a comprehensive people strategy that supports the organization’s goals
- Oversee the recruitment strategy to attract and retain high-performing talent
- Design and implement onboarding programs to integrate new hires effectively
- Establish learning and development programs to support employee growth
- Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Proven HR leadership experience
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus
- Deep understanding of employment law and compliance requirements
