Site Foreman
Job Description
Lead and supervise operational activities for a dedicated team of shift workers, including Terminal Clerks, Tallymen, equipment and crane operators, and stevedores. Take full responsibility for specific cargo operations: vessel and truck loading/discharging, container stuffing/stripping, and yard stacking. Ensure operations are carried out efficiently and safely in compliance with terminal procedures. Act as the primary point of contact during shifts. Act as the Safety Champion, ensuring all operations comply with HSSE policies.
Responsibilities
- Supervise shift workers (operators, stevedores, tallymen)
- Manage vessel and truck loading and discharging operations
- Ensure compliance with HSSE and safety policies
- Serve as HSSE focal point for shift activities
- Coordinate with Terminal Management on operational issues
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in port, terminal, or cargo operations
- Previous experience in a Foreman or Supervisor role preferred
