Business Development or Account Executive - Smart Buildings Software & IoT
Job Description
Our client is a leading provider of advanced technology solutions including a highly intelligent SaaS platform driving smarter energy management and operational efficiency. They are looking for a Business Development/Account Executive with experience in SaaS platforms to take charge of the full sales process and introduce their innovative solutions to new customers.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target prospective clients within Smart Cities, Smart Buildings, and Renewable Energy sectors
- Present and demonstrate the SaaS platform’s features and benefits
- Manage contract negotiations and drive successful deal closures
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and competitors
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Work alongside the marketing team to create effective sales materials
- Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and conferences
- Oversee all stages of the sales cycle from lead generation to post-sale
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in the IoT, SaaS, or Smart Buildings particularly within the UAE or KSA markets
- Strong understanding of the Smart Cities, Home or Building Automation, IoT
- Proven success in consultative selling
- Solid experience in managing CRM systems
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic is preferred
