Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Concrete Technician to perform field and laboratory testing of concrete to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. The candidate will be responsible for sampling, testing, documentation, and monitoring concrete works at site.
Responsibilities
- Conduct slump tests to check workability of fresh concrete
- Measure temperature, air content, and density
- Collect concrete samples and cast cubes/cylinders
- Perform compressive strength tests
- Ensure proper curing of test specimens
- Monitor concrete pouring, compaction, and curing at site
- Verify mix design and batching processes
- Maintain test records and prepare quality reports
- Identify and report non-conformities
- Ensure compliance with ASTM / BS / IS / ACI standards
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment
- Follow all site safety procedures
- Maintain the register after receiving the samples
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience
