Assistant Housekeeping Manager

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
  • Supervising, training, and motivating housekeeping team members
  • Conducting regular inspections of rooms and public areas to maintain luxury brand standards
  • Supporting scheduling, manpower planning, and task delegation
  • Monitoring linen, cleaning supplies, and equipment stock levels
  • Coordinating with Front Office, Engineering, and laundry teams
  • Assisting in managing departmental budgets and controlling costs
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards
  • Handling guest feedback and concerns professionally

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in Hotel Management
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in housekeeping operations within a hospitality environment, including supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of luxury housekeeping standards and cleaning best practices
  • Knowledge of local health, safety, and environmental regulations
