Job Description
With the strategic rapid growth of our luxury brands in Qatar at IHG Hotels & Resorts, we are seeking a dedicated Assistant Housekeeping Manager with luxury and lifestyle brand hotel experiences to join our team in Doha. To support this commitment, we’re looking for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager who will help uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service excellence, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable and comfortable stay.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Supervising, training, and motivating housekeeping team members
- Conducting regular inspections of rooms and public areas to maintain luxury brand standards
- Supporting scheduling, manpower planning, and task delegation
- Monitoring linen, cleaning supplies, and equipment stock levels
- Coordinating with Front Office, Engineering, and laundry teams
- Assisting in managing departmental budgets and controlling costs
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards
- Handling guest feedback and concerns professionally
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in Hotel Management
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in housekeeping operations within a hospitality environment, including supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of luxury housekeeping standards and cleaning best practices
- Knowledge of local health, safety, and environmental regulations
