Assistant Finance Manager
Job Description
An Assistant Finance Manager responsible for supporting the Finance Manager in managing financial planning, accounting operations, budgeting, reporting, and compliance, with the ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced business environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Support the Finance Manager in budget preparation and monitoring
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities (GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations)
- Ensure compliance with company policies and tax regulations
- Analyze financial data and identify variances
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders like auditors and banks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or a part qualification is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or financial management roles
