Senior Process Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Process Manufacturing Engineer opening to join our KitchenAid organization. You will serve as a project leader and technical resource in the development and application of CNC equipment, Automation, Conveyors, and Polishers. You will be responsible for cost and quality improvements and supporting daily operations to achieve division goals.
Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze and solve manufacturing process issues and equipment related problems
- Drive machine shop process improvements through lean concepts
- Lead equipment improvements to achieve OEE Targets
- Provide technical support to technicians and work teams
- Scope, order and assure proper implementation of new processes & equipment
- Determine root cause of problems and implement corrective & preventive actions
- Direct cross functional process improvement projects
- Analyze, evaluate and document standards (SOPs, Control Plans, FMEAs)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of Manufacturing experience in an Engineering role
