Principal Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services)
Job Description
Leading mechanical design projects across the UAE for the Building Services team in Dubai. The role involves shaping landmark developments and working on complex, high-profile projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality assurance.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers.
- Support business development and proposal preparation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 12 years of experience in building services design
- At least 5 years of experience in the UAE
- Chartered Engineer status (CIBSE, ASHRAE, or equivalent) is highly desirable
