IT Site Inspector
Job Description
Hill International provides program, project, and construction management services for clients in a range of sectors undertaking major construction projects across the world. The IT Site Inspector role involves inspection, quality assurance, testing, commissioning, and documentation of ICT systems including network infrastructure, telecommunications, security systems, and audiovisual systems to verify compliance with project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of ICT systems including network infrastructure, telecommunications, and security
- Coordinate and participate in testing and commissioning activities of ICT systems
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, test results, and commissioning documentation
- Monitoring all aspects of the project to ensure compliance with approved and proper standards
- Inspection of works relative to their portion of the project
- Review and monitor variations to the work to mitigate time and cost impacts
- Maintain registers of all submittals and testing
- Maintain full site records, including daily site diaries and progress photography
- Liaising with other Inspectors to flag and rectify issues
- Adhere to HSE policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in ICT inspection, testing, and commissioning
- Solid understanding of ICT systems and technologies
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations governing ICT installations in airport facilities (e.g., ICAO, ACI, IEEE, ISO)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with airport infrastructure projects or similar large-scale construction projects is highly desirable
