Housekeeping Manager

Job Description

Responsible for the daily shift operations of Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club and Laundry. Directs employees to verify property guestrooms and public spaces are clean and well maintained. Assists in ensuring guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.

Responsibilities

  • Verify guest room status is communicated to Front Desk
  • Inspect guestrooms and public spaces on a daily basis
  • Manage work assignments and inventory stock
  • Supervise daily Housekeeping shift operations
  • Conduct on-the-job training for new room attendants
  • Schedule employees to business demands
  • Participate in employee progressive discipline and recognition

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and 2 years experience in housekeeping or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration
