Job Description

We are searching for an experienced M&R Supervisor at our MEDLOG Saudi Arabia - Ad Dammam facility. The M&R Supervisor is responsible for container inspection, assessment, and oversight of maintenance works.

Responsibilities

Supervise routine inspection of incoming and outgoing containers
Assess damages and determine repair requirements as per IICL or shipping line standards
Oversee repair works including panel replacement, welding, flooring, painting, and structural fixes
Monitor reefer container maintenance, temperature checks, and pre-trip inspections (PTI)
Lead and manage technicians, welders, painters, and reefer mechanics
Enforce all HSE regulations and safe working practices
Coordinate with terminal operations, shipping lines, and depot teams
Maintain records of repaired containers, repair costs, and labor used
Update repair status in the Terminal Operating System (TOS)

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related technical field
Certification in IICL (Institute of International Container Lessors) standards is highly preferred
5+ years in container maintenance and repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
