BIM Designer - Civil
Job Description
Egis is looking for a highly skilled Autodesk Civil 3D focused R&H BIM designer and modeler. The role involves leading BIM modelling for roads, highways, civil infrastructure, grading, and surfaces. You will support the BIM Coordinator in day-to-day production, develop 3D/2D models, extract models for clash analysis, and ensure coordination of all model interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Support the BIM Coordinator in day-to-day BIM production and modelling activities
- Develop 3D/2D dimensional models for drawing preparation and clash reporting
- Extract 3D models for clash analysis, schedule review and QS
- Ensure coordination of all Model interfaces with other disciplines
- Ensure all Models and drawings comply with project quality standards
- Prepare engineering drawings from the model including layouts and profiles
- Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs
- Coordinate work with the lead technical engineer
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or 3 Years Diploma in Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years Civil 3D experience
- Proficient in CAD design 2D/3D (AutoCAD and Civil 3D)
- Expert knowledge of Civil 3D including parametric modeling and assembly creation
- Knowledge of BIM codes and Standards (ISO19650, PAS1192-2, BS1192)
- Roads & Highways Project Experience
