Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Deputy Head - Contractor - UAE
Job Description
Lead geotechnical and structural design of bored piles, diaphragm walls, and anchors. Perform advanced 3D finite element modeling using Plaxis 3D for soil-structure interaction analysis. The role involves mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence across UAE and Saudi Arabia projects for a leading foundation engineering contractor.
Responsibilities
- Lead geotechnical and structural design of deep foundations
- Perform advanced 3D finite element modeling
- Conduct structural analysis using SAFE
- Design ground improvement works
- Ensure compliance with BS, Eurocodes, and local regulations
- Manage and mentor team of geotechnical designers and CAD draftsmen
- Support business development and technical proposals
Qualifications
- 12-15 years experience with 5+ years in senior/leadership role
- MUST have substantial piling and foundation contracting company experience
- Advanced Plaxis 3D proficiency for FEM modeling
- Strong SAFE knowledge for structural analysis
- Chartered Engineer status preferred
