Job Description
The Payroll Executive is responsible for managing and processing the company’s payroll accurately and on time, in compliance with UAE labor laws, company policies, and industry best practices. This role ensures employees are paid correctly, statutory deductions are processed, and payroll records are maintained for over 1500 employees across multiple categories.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process monthly payroll for all employees (white-collar & blue-collar)
- Collate and verify attendance, overtime, leave, and incentive data from the Time & Attendance system
- Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, allowances, deductions, and end-of-service benefits
- Reconcile payroll data with HR and Finance records before final submission
- Ensure payroll complies with UAE Labor Law and Wages Protection System (WPS) requirements
- Process gratuity calculations, final settlements, and leave salaries in accordance with UAE law
- Maintain accurate payroll records for audit and government inspection purposes
- Handle payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and professional manner
- Process advances, loans, deductions, and any special allowances as approved
- Coordinate with HR for employee lifecycle changes
- Liaise with Finance for salary disbursements and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly payroll reports, cost breakdowns, and variance analysis
- Maintain and update payroll data in the HRMS/ERP system
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field
