Group Chief Accountant
Job Description
NymCard is hiring a Group Chief Accountant to oversee core accounting operations, lead a team of accountants, and drive finance system transformation through automation. The role includes ownership over financial governance, reporting accuracy, and compliance across legal entities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee A/R, A/P, GL, inventory, and revenue recognition
- Ensure consistent application of accounting standards across legal entities
- Transform manual processes into automated workflows
- Serve as primary contact for external auditors
- Manage and mentor the accounting team
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in accounting/finance
- 3+ years in a group-level leadership role
- CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent qualification
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and multi-entity financial reporting
- Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services is an advantage
