Fragrance Developer
Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fragrance Developer to design, develop, and refine fragrance formulations in line with market trends and brand requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of raw materials, fragrance composition, and product development processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify fragrance formulations based on briefs and client requirements
- Conduct fragrance evaluations, testing, and stability assessments
- Research fragrance trends, raw materials, and competitor products
- Collaborate with production, quality, and marketing teams
- Maintain accurate documentation for formulations and development processes
- Ensure compliance with IFRA guidelines and safety standards
- Support scale-up and production trials
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Perfumery, Chemistry, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in fragrance development or perfumery
- Strong knowledge of fragrance raw materials and blending techniques
- Ability to evaluate scents with accuracy and consistency
