EHS Technician
Job Description
Leading and implementing a proactive Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) program. This includes risk assessments, safety audits, accident/incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and local regulations. The objective is to reduce workplace risks, prevent incidents, and promote a strong and sustainable safety culture across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Identifies potential industrial security hazards.
- Performs Job Safety analysis and Personnel Protective Equipment hazard assessment.
- Develops containment and preventive action plans to control risk situations and eliminates deviations.
- Conducts occupational accident, incident & injury root causes analysis.
- Develops corrective/preventive action plans and follows up its progress.
- Develops and updates emergency and disaster plans and safety procedures.
- Assure the measurement of atmospheric emission, waste water and noisy.
- Conducts building and plant’s assets safety audits.
- Tracks audit findings closure and evaluates effectiveness of safety programs.
- Conducts training sessions and provides coaching for employees exhibiting unsafe behaviors.
Qualifications
- Bac+2 or Bachelor’s degree in EHS or equivalent
