Logistics Specialist F M
Job Description
Chaumet is looking for a Logistics Specialist for its Middle East regional office in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for managing the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods throughout an organizations supply chain and logistics function. He/She will be responsible for optimizing logistics operations through data analysis, project implementation, and team leadership. This role combines analytical skills with project management expertise to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall logistics performance.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the entire shipment process from pick-up to delivery
- Tracking shipments and ensuring accurate and timely delivery
- Troubleshooting and resolving supply chain issues
- Developing distribution plans and coordinating with all stakeholders
- Review existing supply and logistics processes and procedures to identify bottlenecks
- Analyse logistics performance metrics and propose data-driven solutions
- Evaluating and selecting transportation vendors and carriers
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate findings to management
- Developing and maintaining dashboards to track KPIs
- Review and analyze transportation costs and fulfillment metrics
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices
- Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years progressive work experience in a logistics role
- Fluency in English and Arabic (preferred)
