Field Specialist IV - Directional Drilling
Job Description
The DD Field Specialist IV is a senior-level directional drilling professional responsible for leading complex wellsite operations and delivering advanced directional drilling solutions. Acts as a key technical authority and primary liaison between customers and rig site teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise complex directional drilling operations
- Plan and optimize Bottom Hole Assemblies (BHA)
- Operate, inspect, and maintain RSS and motors at the rig site
- Generate daily drilling reports and end-of-well reports
- Supervise and mentor junior directional drilling personnel
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–8+ years of directional drilling experience
- Proven hands-on experience with Rotary Steerable Systems (RSS)
