Dimensional Control Engineer
Job Description
Supervise, Oversee and manage dimensional control survey activities to ensure all structural assemblies and piping spools meet specified dimensions and tolerances. Provide assurance that dimensional surveys are carried out on fabricated structures and piping spools, including all fabrication marine interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dimensional survey programs.
- Review and interpret project drawings and specifications.
- Plan and execute verification activities for fabrication and installation.
- Ensure adherence to the Dimensional Control Inspection & Test Plan.
- Review, validate, and approve dimensional control reports.
- Verify calibration of surveying instruments.
- Supervise and mentor senior/dimensional controllers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) or Diploma (3 years) in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of total experience in surveying and dimensional control within EPIC / EPC projects.
- At least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role.
