Facility Maintenance Lead
Job Description
This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP. Performs routine and emergency maintenance of electronic intrusion alarm systems and equipment, components, and subsystems, to include conductor splicing and terminating. Performs major and minor installation and repairs to circuit boards, circuit breakers, and associated components.
Responsibilities
- Provides direction in maintenance and repair of systems associated with fire detection and suppression
- Utilizes test equipment and meters for locating equipment malfunctions
- Troubleshoots and repairs fire protection circuits and equipment
- Maintains accountability for parts and materials
- Acts as Subject Matter Expert for AOR fire alarm/suppression systems
- Supervises a section of 11 technicians
Qualifications
- Must possess a Trade Certification/License in HVAC, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing and/or Mechanical
- Associate's degree and minimum 5 years’ experience in one of the required trades
- Excellent organization and communications skills
