HSSE Superintendent - (Contract-based)
Job Description
As the direct person in charge of all HSSE management at the oil and gas drilling, production and surface engineering construction site, and coordinating on-site risk control, operation safety, environmental compliance, emergency response, and incident investigation etc.
Responsibilities
- Implement the HSSE system and ensure risks are controllable
- Updates domestic and international HSSE regulations such as OSHA standard
- Organize internal audits and rectify non-conformities
- Conduct JSA to identify high-risk operations
- Daily signing of work permits and review of construction plans
- Provide daily safety training and rectify hazards
- Conduct daily emergency drills and investigate accidents
- Update emergency plans for blowouts and chemical leaks
- Supervise the treatment of drilling waste liquids and backfilling of cuttings
Qualifications
- Full-time college degree or above majoring in oil, gas, drilling, or HSSE
- At least 15 years of HSSE management experience in the oil and gas industry
- Possessing a NEBOSH IGC certificate
- Ability to communicate in English
- At least 5 years of drilling management and 5 years of integrity process on safety management experience
