Job Description
The Associate Sourcing Specialist supports sourcing activities for product development vendor engagements. The associate is responsible for the timely execution of multiple tasks as part of the sourcing workflow. This role is also expected to develop and maintain internal stakeholder relationships, as well as serve as a point of contact for multiple vendor partners.
Responsibilities
- Requesting bids from vendors
- Evaluating and reconciling bids from multiple vendors
- SOW drafting in collaboration with Legal resources
- Requesting purchase orders
- Entering change order request information into Conga
- Routing invoices for approval in SAP
- Project reconciliation and close out
- Vendor metrics gathering
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in supplier sourcing, education technology, publishing, or relevant equivalent experience
- Provides clear, direct, accurate, and professional written and verbal communication
- Exhibits the ability to prioritize to ensure that tasks are completed on time
- Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills
