VOIP Engineer - Secret Clearance
Job Description
The VoIP/Video Engineer is a subject matter expert with an in-depth knowledge of voice routing communications in medium to large infrastructure and design. This position requires technical expertise in call and video routing, optimization, call and video flow technology, customer service and QoS as referenced to DoD practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide implementation of VoIP/VoSIP technology utilizing Cisco Call Manager and Unified Communications
- Manage Tier 1 Cisco Call Managers, Presence, Unity servers, and SBCs
- Collaborate with NOC sections to ensure VoIP traffic quality
- Provide technical support for Voice & Video networks and system upgrades
- Monitor and identify capacity, quality, and performance issues
- Perform regular system maintenance for IAVA vulnerabilities and CCRI compliance
- Adhere to DISA STIGs for security compliance
- Create and track network issues using ServiceNow
Qualifications
- Requires an active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years of experience
- DoD 8570.01M certification (Baseline & Computing Environment)
