Production Designer
Job Description
The Production Sr. Designer serves as both the designer and production owner, responsible for leading artwork from concept through final production release. This role owns the execution, coordination, accuracy, and delivery of all artwork, ensuring creative intent is preserved while meeting brand, legal, and manufacturing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Own artwork from initial concept through final production release
- Execute approved creative concepts and designs through final artwork
- Prepare, finalize, and release print-ready artwork files to suppliers
- Manage all artwork files and approvals within Centric Software
- Review all artwork for accuracy and compliance with technical standards
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Packaging Production Artist / Packaging Production Designer
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Strong understanding of print production and color management
- Experience writing clear print specifications
- BA required; BFA/BA in Graphic Design preferred
