Project Risk Analyst
Job Description
We are looking for a Project Risk Analyst to join our Group Risk Management team. This role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and monitoring project-related risks throughout the project lifecycle to support effective mitigation and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will contribute to strengthening project governance by embedding risk awareness and conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential risks by studying project context and elements (financial, operational, technical, legal)
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk analysis and evaluate impacts
- Collaborate with project teams to understand existing controls
- Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with project managers on timely risk response and escalation
- Track risks, indicators, and mitigation actions throughout the lifecycle
- Maintain and update the risk register
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive risk reports
- Deliver risk awareness training and workshops
- Enhance project risk management practices and systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project risk management or project management
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Professional certifications (CQRM, PMI-RMP) are a plus
