Executive Chef

Job Description

The Executive Chef is the senior culinary authority of Byblos Sur Mer, responsible for the successful pre-opening, launch, and ongoing excellence of all culinary operations across the property. This role requires a highly hands-on leader with strong operational discipline, capable of building teams, enforcing standards, and protecting the integrity of the brand.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full culinary pre-opening across all outlets
  • Recruit, onboard, and stabilize kitchen teams
  • Define kitchen structures, SOPs, and workflows
  • Oversee all kitchen operations and food production
  • Control staffing, scheduling, and kitchen discipline
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning
  • Approve menus, changes, and promotional input
  • Train, mentor, and develop Sous Chefs and Outlet Chefs
  • Hold full accountability for HACCP compliance

Qualifications

  • Executive Chef experience in luxury boutique hotels or high-end hospitality
  • Strong pre-opening and restaurant background
  • Hands-on, disciplined, and results-driven
  • Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills
