Job Description
The Executive Chef is the senior culinary authority of Byblos Sur Mer, responsible for the successful pre-opening, launch, and ongoing excellence of all culinary operations across the property. This role requires a highly hands-on leader with strong operational discipline, capable of building teams, enforcing standards, and protecting the integrity of the brand.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full culinary pre-opening across all outlets
- Recruit, onboard, and stabilize kitchen teams
- Define kitchen structures, SOPs, and workflows
- Oversee all kitchen operations and food production
- Control staffing, scheduling, and kitchen discipline
- Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning
- Approve menus, changes, and promotional input
- Train, mentor, and develop Sous Chefs and Outlet Chefs
- Hold full accountability for HACCP compliance
Qualifications
- Executive Chef experience in luxury boutique hotels or high-end hospitality
- Strong pre-opening and restaurant background
- Hands-on, disciplined, and results-driven
- Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills
