Senior Electrical Engineer, Power Systems
Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Power Systems to join their innovative team. This role is central to the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical power systems for a variety of industrial and commercial applications. You will be responsible for leading engineering projects from conception through to commissioning, ensuring compliance with international standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Performing detailed electrical design calculations.
- Creating single-line diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts.
- Specifying electrical equipment (switchgear, transformers, generators).
- Conducting feasibility studies, technical assessments, and risk analyses.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Leading engineering projects from conception to commissioning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, focusing on power systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Proficiency in software such as ETAP, PSS/E, AutoCAD Electrical, and REVIT MEP.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards (e.g., IEC, NEC).
