Logistics Officer
Job Description
The Logistics Officer is responsible for overseeing the movement and management of containers throughout the supply chain. This role collaborates closely with terminal staff, sales teams, and internal departments to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage container movements
- Coordinate with terminals for efficient loading and unloading
- Generate daily reports on container status and inventory
- Collaborate with sales and planning for forecasting container needs
- Track logistics costs and identify areas for cost reduction
- Investigate and analyze operational issues
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding container status
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or similar field
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in container management or logistics
