Job Description
Assists the Director of Human Resources in the overall management and administration of the human resources function. Specific responsibilities include hiring; employee/labor relations issues and investigations, wage and salary administration, training and development, affirmative action compliance, worker's compensation and safety and the implementation of policies and programs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Affirmative Action Plan compliance.
- Leads the hotel's quality program and related training.
- Manages the hotel's employee relations programs.
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day HR Department operation.
- Counsels and/or disciplines employees as needed.
- Oversee the overall function of the HRIS System.
- Responds to and negotiates all claims for unemployment.
- Supervises departmental issues relating to worker's Compensation.
Qualifications
- Previous HR managerial experience
- Excellent knowledge of hospitality
- Excellent knowledge of employment law and employee relations
