Telesales Trader
Job Description
We’re hiring a Telesales-Focused Bunker Trader to join our fuel trading desk and drive commercial growth in marine fuels and petroleum products. You’ll be on the front line of our sales efforts engaging with clients, negotiating deals, and closing trades over the phone in a fast-paced trading environment. This role involves selling marine fuel products including VLSFO, HSFO, MGO, and other petroleum grades.
Responsibilities
- Drive outbound telesales efforts to ship owners, operators, brokers, and global trading partners
- Sell marine fuel products including VLSFO, HSFO, MGO, and other petroleum grades
- Provide live pricing, negotiate margins, and secure confirmed deals over the phone
- Maintain and grow strategic client relationships through consistent engagement
- Collaborate with supply, operations, and credit teams to ensure seamless trade execution
- Track market pricing, competitor activity, and fuel trends
- Record all call activity, deals, and pipeline progression in CRM
Qualifications
- Proven track record in telesales / fuel sales / bunker trading / oil trading
- Exceptional communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Understands bunker trading fundamentals and fuel products
- Fluent in English
- Able to work with international time zones when needed
