Senior MEAL Officer
Job Description
The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Senior Officer will support Anera Jordan’s programs through data collection, quality control, information management, and reporting. The MEAL Senior Officer will maintain monitoring plans, update indicator tracking tables, and ensure accurate, high-quality field data is aggregated across programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive MEAL strategies
- Prepare M&E Plans for projects including log frames and data collection tools
- Supervise project indicator follow-up
- Conduct field monitoring visits to project sites
- Lead data collection efforts and analytical techniques
- Oversee feedback mechanisms for stakeholders
- Document and disseminate best practices and lessons learned
- Collaborate with the Communication team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, development, or a related discipline
- Certification or specific training in MEAL methodologies
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in implementing M&E frameworks
- At least 2 years in a leadership role
- Experience with ICT tools like Kobo and CommCare
- Proficiency in English and Arabic
