Job Description

As a Product Specialist, you’ll bring BYD’s purpose to life on the ground, turning curiosity into real understanding, and guiding customers through their first EV journey. What you will do: Create memorable, high-impact customer experiences. Guide customers through the EV world (tech walkthroughs, test drives). Drive sales through storytelling and proactive engagement. Curate the in-store and pop-up environment. Stay ahead of EV landscape with deep product knowledge. Collaborate across teams to deliver a frictionless experience. Support key events and activations. Requirements: Proactive, customer-obsessed mindset. Strong communication skills in English. Proven sales or CX experience (ideally 2+ years in mid-luxury retail, hospitality, F&B). Confidence in presenting. Tech-savvy with CRM + Microsoft Office. Valid UAE driving license.

Responsibilities

  • Become the face of BYD’s retail experience elevating every customer interaction into a premium, personalized journey.
  • Guide customers through the EV world with confidence: tech walkthroughs, immersive test drives, ownership insights, and everything in between.
  • Drive sales through connection, storytelling, and proactive engagement supported by precise CRM tracking and disciplined pipeline management.
  • Curate the in-store and pop-up environment so every display, touchpoint, and brand moment reflects BYD’s luxury-tech DNA.
  • Stay ahead of the EV landscape with deep product knowledge and translate it into clear, compelling customer education.
  • Work hand-in-hand with marketing, operations, and aftersales to deliver a seamless, frictionless experience from first contact to long-term loyalty.
  • Support key events, activations, and handovers to ensure every customer touchpoint, online or in-person, feels smooth, intentional, and premium.

Qualifications

  • Proactive, customer-obsessed mindset: adaptable, self-driven, ethical, and committed to growing within BYD
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
  • Proven sales or CX experience (ideally 2+ years in mid-luxury retail, hospitality, F&B)
  • Confidence in presenting and guiding customers through high-consideration purchases.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM + Microsoft Office.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
