Job Description
Shipping Operations Manager to join a team in Oman. You will be responsible for overseeing the marine and commercial operations for the fleet in an aim to increase effectiveness and success. Furthermore, you will attend vessels worldwide to supervise operations and monitor vessel condition and staff compliance with management policies and international regulations.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the marine and commercial operations for the fleet
- Attend vessels worldwide to supervise operations
- Monitor vessel condition and ships staff compliance
- Act as the middleman between owners and charterers
- Respond to operational matters
Qualifications
- 2 – 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity role
- Have a Masters license and sailing experience on Tankers
- Have a strong business sense and commercial approach
- Be fluent in English – both written and verbal
