Job Description

The Sr. Marketer is responsible for negotiating Master Sales and Purchasing Agreements (MSPA's) with identified customers. They will develop strategies and identify opportunities for short term sales delivering maximum value to shareholders and the State of Qatar.

Responsibilities

  • Steward short term contracts with designated customers
  • Analyse market trends and regulatory developments
  • Develop tactics for negotiations consistent with approved strategy
  • Lead complex negotiations for QatarEnergy
  • Ensure contract sanctity and adherence to procedures
  • Liaise with Finance, Legal and support functions
  • Develop marketing plans and proposals for short term LNG sales

Qualifications

  • 8 years professional experience in marketing and business development of the hydrocarbon industry
  • Industry knowledge of LNG sales contracts (HOA, term sheet, MSPAs, SPA)
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree (Business, Economics, Engineering or Finance)
